hello my name is grant, just joined site sunday. looking forward to hearing from people in the same situation as myself. got married in butaun phillippines in january this year, waiting on my wifes visa. what a journey, heheh. take care and god bless. im from dundee in beautiful scotland. im a hgv driver, been waiting for visa just over 4 weeks now. but hope soon we will have. coz my wifes friend got hers, in one month and two days. without any interview. no probs. so we hope and pray for good outcome.

My husband is also from Scotland. About your friend's wife visa, do you know when they applied? One month and 2 days is quite faster compared to the average waiting time of 10 weeks that the others had.

welcome to the forum Grant...where in Butuan is she? I'm from Cabadbaran City 27kms away from Butuan...Goodluck to her visa. I got mine in just 3 days. Maybe I'm just lucky that time, coz my bacth got thiers for less than a week. Thats way back 2006:)
