hi!

yeah...Maria is right! Thats filipina wives are, when I arrived here in England to join my husband I have to fixed everything because it seems for me that everything is not in place.

The result is...my husband seems to be a stranger in his own home, he can not find anything and have to ask me where the stuffs are.

Funny, but he's happy that he's home is looking better now:)

Get used to it jimcarrie...

Not a strange:D! I was shocked with my hubby's room when I arrived, :omg: I tidied the place and thought that he will feel happy with what I have done:action-smiley-081:, but he said he can't find anything:doh.
But he's bit happy they changed his cuisine a bit. He said it is oriental, filipino and spanish cuisine:xxgrinning--00xx3:. He likes my mechado, murcon, chopsuey(half cooked) and lechon kawali:D

yes this is normal with a Filipino wife/fiancee they move everything around, change all your routines of life, and switch off all the switched sockets in your house, because they want to save you money on your electric, they switch all your Media devices from standby to completely off, and when you push down the switch on the kettle and come back for your hot water, it has not boiled.

That is because she pulled out the plug and you did not notice.

There are lots of things like this to contend with, because SHE wants to save you money, or conserve electric, all of a sudden they come from a country with one of the worst environmental records in the world, to all of a sudden becoming a recycle freak, a conservationist and full blown carbon footprint environmental campaigner.

Thats the Filipina for you !

Not at all normal .... why has it taken 'a few days'? Ruby was tidying/cleaning my house within hours rather than days.

This such a god thread that all us men here can idebtify with, in preparation for my honey's arrival with our new baby I "sorted" the house I had rented for us and got everything "organised"...................... or so I thought, within days I could not find anything in the kitchen, the conservatory was being set up as teh new play room that baby will need, my clothes had been completely re arranged, furniture re arranged, and even my screen savers changed from my favourite cars to mummy and baby pictures.

welcome to your new life with a filipina and just wait for the 1st stinky fish!! yes Kimmi that means dilis

Have any of the guys noticed how more and more of the clothes in your wardrobe seem to completely disappear as the missus acquires more of her own. Sort of like a cuckoo chick in the nest, growing and growing and throwing all the other chicks out.

When I say they disappear, I don't mean they disappear completely, they usually re-appear in a balikbayan box or a very over packed suitcase when it's time to visit Phils again.

Iain.

Yeah.........
I can relate to clothes disappearing, stuff being moved, mail in the in and out tray being stuffed in carrier bags and shut inside some cupboard, desktop and screen savers changed more or less on a daily basis, being off limits in what once was MY kitchen...

There used to be method in my madness...
I used to know exactly where everything was, despite the clutter.....:omg:
But I am very grateful, as she brought love and happiness in my life.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I didnt do much organizing bec my husband is already clean and organized, I just make sure things are in place and clean...sometimes I think I got OCD! :P

Same with Misscarie, I used to fry alot and my husband opens all the windows and door but I dont fry that often anymore, I just can not stand the smell on your clothes and in the house.

It's best to open the doors/windows to the outside and if you have one use the extractor fans. The key thing is also to close the ineternal doors. When I forget to do that I even get the smell on my clothes in the wardrobes at the top of the house. :NoNo:

hello hehehe yeah thats normal for filipinos to be tidy..and were same, i was shocked as well when i arrived in my fiances house as it was so clean, very tidy and smells so nice, every morning when i woke up, bins are already empty, and the first time i check when i arrived is kitchen and toilet, coz if that place are messy well some says it will affect the personality and they say thats the very important part of the house.....

cheers to your wife....i understand why she did that.....coz were to do that...

yeah, and sometimes when im cooking and start to fry garlic, my fiance will open the window and spray some air fresherner as he says.....garlic is nice but if you can smell it whole day, its other story hahahahahha :BouncyHappy:
...he wanna make sure everything smells nice as he says you cannot tell when is your visitors coming, so better be clean at all times

When i first came here to stay with my fiance (now husband) i've noticed his house is clean and in order but, it's different when a woman sorts out things.

So when i did all the sorting everything was classified. He once asked me where did i keep the batteries for his crossword solver. Then i said it's classified/belongs to the hardware section so you will find them there....:Hellooo::Hellooo::):)
