Plenty of sun this afternoon down here in london with a touch of rain on the way home which stops London turning in to a drought zone.
Was it a year ago that we were being told that London would be a desert in a couple of years time and the ice caps would dissapear.
Now this year im told we have more than enough water and i read somewhere the ice caps they think are a touch bigger than last year in mass:Erm:
Nature make your mind up

Ice caps & glaciers are still shrinking, but people tend not to realise that global warming means MORE rain.

In some places (as aussies and much of africa and parts of asia will tell you they need some rain) but the south of england was supose to be sand and vineyards about now, a few years back.
But then more cloud surely that will cool the world down with the suns heat being reflected away:Erm:
Im waiting for a big volcano to erupt the one under the US is over due i think?

Another misconception. :)
Why do you only get frost on clear nights? Because on cloudy nights it keeps the heat in. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hi andypaul,
Where I live the region is considered an arrid desert and we could use some rain. How about you send some rain and I will see if I can get the volcano to erupt and send some ash your way.:icon_lol:

But on a sunny day when the cloud comes me is colder:D
Im told it depends on the type of frost is it advective or radiation.
So if you had cloudy days and clear nights.
What with lil john getting the super volcano ready i might go buy a few thick jumpers:D
