Validity of information re fiancee/marriage visa

Hi everyone,

I have been reading the threads on how to go about the application process, as well as the reguired documents; and even the sample letter are very helpful. Was just wondering though if these are still valid since the thread dates back to 2004. Just thinking that maybe it's not how it is today since that process was about 4 years ago. Would greatly appreciate all the help I can get. My bf (who live in Manchester) and I are planning on my relocation process. We've been "dating" since May 2007.

I would like to thank the moderator for creating this very helpful and informative site (Do you have another website? I think I have seen your picture there with your fiancee/wife).
