I have in my possession 3 second hand mobiles (UK)
I want to get them to Iligan, Philippines and don't trust the postal service in Philippines :NoNo: - no disrespect ment but I lost 2 items already. :cwm23:
Anyone know anyone flying to Philippines or of another method to get them to the intended!
Thanks :ARsurrender:

I send a package via mr van a courier service which used to arrange pick up via a phill shop in earls court on there website they offered a service and paid the tax at the time 1000 peso on any phone imported. This ia few years ago now.
best to check on the latest regs, otherwise the courier will want the tax paying by the person your sending the package.

ive just sent a mobile phone and a camera thru post office 3 weeks ago for cagayan de oro and my sister received it the other day so i think its alright to use post office. what i've only done is to get insurance just in case it will be lost you can claim for it. i paid only 16 pounds for the lot thats including insurance.

Hi Angel1231
Not sure how to contact you because my membership here is limited!
And cannot find out from FAQ if I can add my email here
When are you returning to Cagayan - it is close enough for me - gf lives in Iligan.
And where are you now?
If moderators can confirm to me whether it is possible to add my email or advise how to contact then please respond!
Thanks / Ingats

Hi! how does post office base the charging or how much to pay? Is it by weight or they based on the size?Did your sister paid custom tax when she got it in phil? Is it brand new?

It is by weight as well as the cost of the items if you want to insure them... You just have to declare them as gifts so she will not be charged when she receive/claim your package.

Hi Phillip (2 L's ha)
I am just 1 L of a guy hehehehehehe
Hopefully if my life gets sorted next few days and passport arrives I will be leaving to Philippines soon. Thanks for your offer.
I am looking for extra luggage/spare capacity to move other items to Philippines - if anyone has any ideas. DVD Recorder/PC etc - moving to Philippines why leave it behind!
I might see u there (hopefully if all goes well for a change).
