Is it for love or comfort?
I have a brit work mate who said to me she has a filipina (45 y/o) neighbour married to a brit ( she said its her ex teacher the guy ) who is in his 80 now according to her bec she is 50 now. Of course as a filipina she thinks I have a very good explanation about it.
I thought its only filipinos who likes gossiping....:D

Ask directly to the people involved on how they feel about it:xxgrinning--00xx3:, coz judgement or interpretation can't give enough better explanation:rolleyes:

i think an age gap of 30+ yrs will attract some attention :Erm:
as does my misses when she's out with little joe, he's got no Filipino features at all, looks like any other white British kid :doh
only in a soap do you see stories like this :D, its not 21yrs but he's 30yrs old :doh

Hi, there are two questions here and my replies would be that
1) love knows no boundaries to age
and
2) gossip is world-wide, there's no escaping it :Rasp:

Age is just a number, not really a big deal. It's the comfort emotionally that matters most that makes you feel complete and happy, not the age.Just enjoy the feeling of being in love.:BouncyHappy::BouncyHappy::BouncyHappy:

well its easy to say that age is just a number for some people but if you do a reality check you'll know the big difference IMO

I guess that you don't approve of my marriage to Ruby, then?
Strange as it may seem, we really don't find the 30 year difference to be an issue at all.

What matters most is, if two people are happy and both comfortable to each other :-)

my husband is 16 year old than me...is that a huge gap in British point of view? as for filipinos point of view (in Phils) it is a very huge gap:Erm:IMO but who cares...he is the love of my life:BouncyHappy::cwm12:
well, actually I have co-worker (filipina) she is 49 years old and the hubby is about 82 now but no child both parties agreed not to have one at all. My only criticism at her is she never called her husband as "husband or asawa" she always called him as her companionship and she told me that they don't sleep on the same room anymore:Erm: But being married for 17 years is a remarkable achievement:rolleyes:
