No, not the one in a girls hair, or the one my new R8 will come wrapped in.
What is ir when referring to certificates, somebody told me you have to take the certificates from NSO to the DFA for a ribbon. I have never seen mention of it, is it a must or just a nice thing to have, whatever it is:)

You're getting an Audi? I'm jealous ... I miss my RS6 - not that it would have been any use on Filipino roads.

The Red Ribbon is the authentication of the document by NSO, Malacaņang and DFA. At the end the NSO Sepca document and the 2 certificates from Malacaņang and DFA are linked together by a rivet and a red ribbon.
Some Embassies (like the French one) require it, but I think the British Embassy do not (others will tell you).

You have the Red Ribbon only if you get the 3 authentications...
It should be done in this order: NSO, Malacaņang and then DFA
At the end, you have the rivet (between the 3 documents as it's valid only with the 3 ones attached), the 2 red ribbon and the seal on the front one.

Yup no need to get the red ribbon. An NSO authenticated MC will suffice already for your visa application.

Not only, all documents issued by NSO can have it (my Wife has her Birth Certificate with the red ribbon). It's just up to the Embassy for this requirement.
