Hello everyone. Im filipina owl, been a member in this forum for a few months. I dont usually post threads as i only enjoy reading important information which is very helpful to everyone who is seeking advice regarding visas. Well, today i have decided to post this thread for the reason of seeking enlightenment from our friends in this forum and hoping to gain friends as well.
Well, i am a lucky fiancee of a british man from wales. I got engage last year, I can say that it was one of the happiest moment of my life. I have been heartbroken for a couple of times before i met my fiance and now,i thank God i finally found the right man for me. We've meet 4 times already and he is bound to philippines this december. He is the right person i want to spend my life with. We get along very well and i am happy with him. We are planning to get married next year. As of the moment,he has received his decree nisi and we are still waiting for his absolute decree to be released anytime next month, hopefully God willing.
Anyway, i got a nice stable job here in the philippines, well paid and i just got promoted in the company i am working with. Before my promotion, my fiance and i were discussing about our preparations in getting a fiancee visa and i was totally into it because i want to be with him because i truly love him. But after i got promoted, i am being hesitant to let go of my career. I love my job here and i am really reluctant at the moment whether i will quit my job or decide to go to UK with my fiance. Fortunately, my fiance is such a very supportive man. He supports whatever decision i want to make. He has been here many times and he likes it here. We actually plan to settle down in panglao bohol someday(its a beautiful place). My salary here, i would say is really good enough especially that i am now promoted.
My fiance's only concern is that, he has a nice job back in UK and it will be difficult for him to find a job here. And that's what i have been thinking. Whereas if i go to UK with my beloved fiance, i would surely be able to find a nice and better job since my profession is in demand in the UK. I would really love to be with my fiance and i can't wait for us to start our own family but what about my career here? Should i give it up? :Erm:
Can anyone give me some words of enlightenment please? I am undecisive at the moment but my fiance is just waiting for whatever decision im going to make. But we will have a thorough discussion in december. I would very much appreciate any advice. Thank you for reading my sentiments. God bless us all. :)
