Its not just the water if you filter it or soften it somehow its said to be better if your in a hard water area and get rid of the cholorine etc. shampoos and other in the UK are i am led to belive different for the various areas of the country.

if you cant sleep read this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_water

Your hubby should know what the water is like you can tell by looking at the taps in hard areas you get a bulid up of white scale over time.

The other reason is humidty.

All us brits and phills who return to the land of balut will notice with in days our hair and skin change.

I have read on many sites and from seeing and hearing how my wife and her friends were affected by the change getting the right treatment is vital.

Us blokes dont notice but i know its very destressing what with all the other things going on.

Dont forget to visit your local phill shop for the products that you know it helps my wife as she is addicted to her papaya soap

That'll be because it safe to drink and use straight from the tap then!

You'll find it is the atmosphere that effects hair, not water which is H2O wherever you live in the Universe! :)

Hi Trina if you want to take care of your dry hair, it is mandatory that you oil your hair regularly or at least each time before you shampoo your hair.
For excessively dry hair, it is vital that the hair is oiled and kept overnight before it is shampooed. Castor oil, almond oil, olive oil, and coconut oil work wonders on dry hair.

Why dont you try it, its effective no need for you to go to the salon..
Hope my hair advise is effective why dont you try it..

Hi Trina...got the same problem when I was there, I used Loreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Ultra Detangling Range...used leave on conditioner as well...try also skipping a day when washing your hair...i found that really helpful, retains some of ur hair's natural oil for a bit. Also for dry skin...Loreal Nutrilift...worked with me as well. Had a very dry itchy skin first few days before i switched.
