Congratulations Ging and Ricky,
Were still waiting for ours and it will be 5 weeks on tuesday since they acknowledged receipt of the application, mind you, it's a double application for both Louella and Mary Grace' so I suppose it could take longer. Our postman hasn't been yet this morning, so ours might still arrive today as well.
Louella & Iain.

if think your in lala land rob if you think your wife will get a uk passport this year :doh
citizenship app could take upto 6 months, then you've got the process of applying for a passport (upto 6wks wait), and she will have to attend an interview :doh
but I'll be sending the wife's naturalization app end of this month, then for a British passport, as her phil one expires end of this month, were hoping to go to phils april/may next year. it will be 4yrs since we've been :yikes:

:NoNo:, but in many ways they have similar benefits, a residence permit is valid for a period of five years. After having spent four of the five years in the country, EEA permit holders will become eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK (ILR) often referred to as UK permanent residence.

I dont see any problem as long as you study the book everything is in there and do the practical test in the net as well. My husband doesnt know everything as well everytime i asked him questions from the book:doh
I know you can do it , its only 24 multiple questions test:)
Goodluck:)

Yes, another £650 + whatever it is for the actual passport, £90 or so pounds.
