Help on PSP2

I bought a PSP2 slim (playstation) I saw it in game station shop a preowned for only £49.99 though to be honest I have no single idea about playstation games I just find it quite cheap (well its second hand:rolleyes:) and they have a preowned games for £10 for 4 games. I did ask the sales clerk if it is going to work abroad and he said YES as long as the games are from UK bec "region" thing which I don't understand:Erm: and UK is PAL system.

Do you think it will work in the Phils? Does anybody bought similar thing and it works in Phils? Its a Christmas gift to my nephew as my friend is going home this Dec.

PS 2 needs to be chipped one we bought in gloraetta was already chipped.

Ask a family member to find a place which can do it for you will cost not a lot.

I belive from reading this article its ilegal here but i think phils will be happy to adjust your ps2.

Im just saving cheesewhizz asking in shops here in the UK as they should be saying no although im sure some will help out.

But far easier to simply ask in phill:)

well i'm not sure if she has bought a ps2 or a psp :Erm:

anyway, i'm sure someone at your local computer show will chip it :D
