Hi All,
Louella, Mary Grace and I are still wating on the result of the ILR application for herself and Mary Grace and it will be 8 weeks on Tuesday since they received it. It's getting a bit of a worry now because we thought with the amount of evidence we included with the application, that it would be almost a formality.

I know Ging and Ricky got there's within 4 weeks and I just wondered if anyone on this forum has waited this long, or like us, are still waiting.

Cheers,

Iain.

my misses and the kids took 4wks exactly

they must have taken your money out of your account ??

might be time to give them a call, have you checked on the website what months of ILR they are processing ??

Oh yes, they have taken the money. I did call them last week and they said that the couldn't put a trace on it until it had been with them for at least 12 weeks. They also said it could take up to 16 weeks to process. It's beyond a joke. :cwm23:

I knew someone who applied for ILR since January this year and until now they are still waiting for the result.

I think it takes longer to decide for the applicants who was ie. overstayed etc than the applicant whos got a good immigration history.

Goodluck to you Ian and wife.

I guess the local PEos have different witing times. If i recall correctly the payment is processed in one place and then the paperwork is shifted to the respective local peo office.
So maybe scotlands has a shorter waiting list for various reasons.

Hopefully good news will be heard soon:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I suppose any kind of visa that you have to apply for can be refused, but I'd rather not think about that at this moment in time. We'll cross that bridge if and when we come to it, as they say! :NoNo:

I wouldn't worry unnecessarily too much.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

We waited exactly 6 months for Jet's Residence Card.

I had the same thoughts as you, but all there is to it is just having to wait and lots of patience.:NoNo:

You'll soon get it.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I just assumed that they were all processed at Croydon and when I heard that Ging and Ricky got theirs in 4 weeks, I took it that this was about the current waiting time for ILR. That's the main reason I was beginning to worry about it, but I suppose we'll just have to hang in there and wait now.
