Hi everyone,last night when we got back home from the
workshop,we saw a huge envelope,im so scared and nervous
to open it,coz i thought this is it i been denied,coz i take a risk
i should extend my visa first(flr)thats the home office advice to me.
then apply for ILR after.(long story)
And then i open the envelope,oh my god my residence permit(ilr)
is granted...:Hellooo::Hellooo::Hellooo:,im very very happy.:BouncyHappy:
from when we posted to getting all the papers back(25 days in total).:xxgrinning--00xx3:

i don't get it. you mean you didn't apply for FLR? and you applied directly to ILR? so from fiacee to ILR?:Erm:

hiya!just asking if how many years ur res.permit here?coz i got mine for only 2 years.and what i know it is not the same by ilr

stay permanently(settle)in the uk free from immigration control.
correct me if im wrong.

your never truly free until you have citizenship and a British passport :rolleyes:

most ILR apps take 4wks, my misses exactly 28 days :D

what i mean is 'residence permit is not the same as 'indefinite leave to remain'.residence permit has a time limit to stay here also like flr.and just asking also if did u take the test like what lisaphils asking to u?:Erm::Erm:

My wife and step-daughter are still waiting and it will be 9 weeks on Tuesday since they acknowledged receipt of the application.
