My Greetings!

My Fiance and I will be applying for a visa hopefully before this month ends,
with this, we are trying to get a date booked with a Vicar/Parsih Priest of Hannington Church, Swindon Uk but he wont agree to marry us till we can prove that marriage by banns is legal in the Philippines if we are married in UK and he said he would need an official statement saying its legal.

You think its possible for us to be wed in the local church there without needing a letter from the embassy? Is it legal? Is letter from the embassy necessary?

We were hoping we will be wed in a Church.

Thank you very much.

Respectfully yours,

Zobel

P.S.

I have furnished a copy of NSO CENOMAr, NSO birthcertificate, parents permit, permit letter from my local parish and Jay (fiance) have them already.

Thanks again,
Zobel

Ms. Milano,

A British Citizen requires a CNI (Certificate of No Impediment) from the Embassy to marry in the
Philippines. The validity of the marriage in the Philippines may be challenged if there is no CNI.
Attached is guidance how to obtain a CNI for your information. Thank you.
