Hmmn! First time I have heard the NPA defined as Marxist. It is not uncommon for any group seeking social justice and reform to be termed Communist though. Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to social injustices in da Phils. I dont know how Gloria et al. sleep at night, I really don't.

Not encouraging enterprise on an international level, only exploitation of such wonderful and industrious people! Absolutely appalling.

it is nothing new. it showed how unstable our country is...politically, socially, economically, etc. news that i have seen way back then

They have always been a Communist outfit..First time Ive heard it suggested that they are not!!

I dont think that link will leave room for much doubt for what the NPA stand for!
One thing I will say for them is at least they stick to shooting government soldiers and not me.
I once lived in an NPA strong hold in Bicol.
Never encountered a problem with them.
