Hi to all my kababayans!:Hellooo: Anyone here knows where to pay SSS contributions? I would like to continue paying my monthly contributions in SSS here in the UK but I don't know how to activate it and where to pay? I know there's a philippine bank in London but that's too far from where I am now. Please help. Thanks.:)

HI THERE MISS SINGKIT,

I inquired this to my mom yesterday. And I will continue paying the SSS contribution as self-employed/ as a volunteer. This will be a very big help because i also have found out that I will be getting a maternity benefit when the baby is due PhP40,000 (and yes i am pregnant! yahoo!) even if i will give birth here in the UK.

at the moment, i am paying Phil Health monthly - P100.00 and will be getting benefits too...

she also have inquired about the Pag-Ibig Mutual Fund contributions... all i have to do is continue paying it... by starting the current month... my money was earning dividends & interests even if i was inactive for 2 yrs now since i migrated here...

i hope the above info will help you decide....

P.S.
If you are sending your family money, it will be great if they will do all the legwork and maybe give them SPA - Special Power of Attorney, but limit their authority so you are always in the safe side...

I trust my mom anyway, so she is dealing all the paper&leg works:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Congratulations, Jay&Zobel!!! :BouncyHappy:

I only trust my parents, but they are 72 yo and suffering from arthritis and they are now weak to travel That's why I want to do it myself while am here in the UK working. Just incase, me and hubby would want to retire in Phils atleast we have some funds in rainy days.:D.

Thanks for the info:xxgrinning :xxgrinning--00xx3::

hehe... no problemo! that too.. you can claim benefits from the above mentioned companies especially if your parents are not employed or not receiving pensions... you can declare them as dependents... will be great help for hospitalizations and other health benefits (not that im saying they will be hospitalized hehe) but better be prepared than none right?

with tha pag-ibig fund, you can easily avail a Mortgage/housing loan if you are a member. They give competitive rates too! So cheap than having loans in banks (PI)... that is why i think I will continue doing the contribution because same with you... We would like to retire in the Sunny - part - of the world! The Philippine Islands!!
