Just thought this might help members regarding the NSO certificates (birth and marriage certificate).
I've tried this and got my birth certificate delivered on the 3rd day. More practical than queing in crowded and poorly ventilated NSO offices and skipping a day's work.

Just need to register first and you'r eon ur way to requesting your certificates.
Hope this help you guys.

For the newly weds who did not request early endorsement of their MC to NSO, the request for an initial copy via the hotline number or online will not work because it usually takes 6 months before the LCR forwards MCs to NSO. What I did with my MC was I requested for an early endorsement to NSO upon filing to the LCR of the city where we got married and after 2 weeks I personally went to the NSO main office to request for my first authenticated copy of MC. Then after that I tried to request for another copy via the hotline number and I got the second copy after 3 days. So if you did not have make an early endorsement to NSO and you've only filed your MC to LCR for less than a month then most likely you won't be able to get a copy using the online or hotline request.

i have some queries:
did you report your marriage (here in UK) in the PI? in NSO?
because, technically, if we did not submit any of our marriage licenses we will be considered as Single still once we are in the PI?
who has reported/ submitted their Marriage licenses to NSO already?
i think it is best to notify them as well?
pls enlighten us regarding this...
P.S.
Even if we are married here in the UK, it is still but considered as valid in the PI. But then again, PI did not know that the marriage took place right? (knowing the old system) or even if we have amended our passports... you can still tell them that you have misplaced it & have another 1 in your maiden name? hmmm.... think we should report it to them... Kindly enlighten us please... Thanks

HI. You can try this site, http://www.philembassy-uk.org/userfiles/file/rom2.pdf
I asked about this report of Marriage from the DFA in Manila, i asked if me and my husband needed to submit this though were married here in the Philippines. I was informed this is only submitted by Filipinos married in the UK so the marriage can be reported and recorded in the Philippines. I am just not sure if the DFA will be the agency responsible in forwarding the wedding info to NSO.
Maybe you can ask this when you visit the Phil. Embassy. BTW, they have a new Consul general.
Hope the info is of help. ^_^

Then maybe you can try checking your registration in NSO now. Just to make sure everything's been recorded. ^_^
