Has anybody here had holiday in one of the Beach Resort in Olongapo or Zambales?

I`ve been looking for any location where I can bring my Fiance when he comes here this coming January. I thought we will just stay in Luzon, because it will be cheaper and save time from long journey.
Fiance is not really into "water" hobbies, but he loves to lay down on the sand and sunbathing until the sun sets. I love swimming and sunbathing, too.
We have been to most of the tourist attractions here in the Philippines, such as Baguio City, Pagsanjan Falls, Tagaytay, beaches in La Union and Cebu. So this time we just want to have a relaxing days away from the city and croud and have more sunshine.

I googled some resort in Zambales and and so far I am interested in
White Rock Beach Resort, but still I want to get some tips and advice if anyone here had been to this places.

Any advice and recommendations will be appreciated. Thank you very much.

White rock resort is one of my favorite beach resorts, its very relaxing
and peaceful place, one of the best known resorts in the area..
Grande island resort also has a few nice beaches,to reach the resort
you need to take a ferry that runs a few times a day and departs from
grande island terminal.Camayan beach resort is nice as well,is part of managed
by Ocean adventure.Ocean view resort is a popular resort, but its always
busy.

Do you think it is a good idea to take a bus to Zambales, as we do not want the idea to take the car and the driver with us.

How many hours from Manila to White Rock?

Thanks again.

well, for me it would be nice if u have your own car,
so you can explore SBF anytime u want..but anyway
if you take a bus,Victory liner from manila, the trip to Olongapo
city takes 3 to 5 hours.
By car, depending on traffic conditions, from manila will take about
3 to 4 hours to get to the SBF area.

O ok. So its not that really far from Manila.
Yes it would be nice to take the car, but he doesn`t want to drive and I can`t drive, maybe we will just ask the driver to take us and pick us up, its not that far from Manila , anyway.

We`ll see, Im sure we will sort something out.

Thank you very much Alicat.
