If you are making your application before 27 November 2008, you must use version 06/2008 of the form. If you are making your application on or after 27 November 2008, you must use the new version (version 11/2008) (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ukresidency/settlement/applicationtypes/applicationformset(m)/).

one change to the form i can see is
5.3 (note 2)
they have specifically named the "approved awarding bodies " for the ESOL qualifications
there must be colleges out there that are doing courses which are not acceptable:doh

yes i'm sure there is :D many fake and phantom uni's and colleges out there :yikes:..
same with the student visa, more checks on colleges and uni's are carried out now, they now have to be approved and regonised by the HO/department of education or some other gov approved education body, also need a license to, and if their naughty or don't keep an eye on the students. they could lose thier license :doh
things are tightening up..
