new here and needs some help with VISA [Archive]

:Hellooo:Helo everyone! we are just new here and we would like to gather any information you can share with us regarding VISA. Basically we are here as a student visa, I got it only valid to 1 yr. And my passport will expire next year. Any advice what to do 1st either renewing my passport or visa? or if I can apply for working visa instead of student visa? Please help guys! If you want to apply for a work permit you either need to meet the criteria for Tier 1 (or possibly Tier 2), or have a employer willing and able to sponsor you.
