Hi
I've been reading a particular issue ragarding divorce, annulment of a Filipina.
The story goes like this.
Miss A was married and legally married in the Philippines, she was able to obtain a transit visa when she was in Heathrow, she decided to stay.

She became an overstayer and met a man, since she is legaly married, she filed a divorce in the UK and was granted. BUt according to the Family LAw the marriage is not valid in the Philippines, so this means she has 2 husbands.
A guy in the UK and a guy in the Phil.

She wants to legalise her stay in the UK, and which means she must leave the UK and apply an entry clearance. Do you think there will be a problem since she is still legallly married in the Philippines?

Any comments.

Thankyou

She must go back to the Philippines and file annulment. When its all done get marry again but this time in the Phils and apply a fresh application.

I think this is her only option and I knew someone who did the same before.

Just hope that your wife's first husband wont file anything against her...Bigamist! (I think).

This must be done asap and also seek an advice from the solicitor or go to Citizen Advice Bureau.

Goodluck!
