Hayling Island, you been there?

Me and my Filipina wifey are off to Hayling Island for a few days next week, any of you guys been there recently? I just want to know what the island is like these days...like, is it still there?:yikes:

I'm in Hayling now and it's like a ghost town these days...not just saying that 'cause it's winter...more than half the gift shops and arcades that used to be here are all closed! The fun fair is still here though!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

We'll be looking at H.M.S. victory today 'cause it's in nearby Portsmouth, we can't actually get on it 'cause it doesn't open until March (and Lord Nelson said there's no such thing as can't!:icon_lol:)
