Hi all,

Just want to know if there are filipinos here from Croydon.

I am going to be relocated in Croydon next month and i wonder where can i find flats or shared accommodation somewhere around the filipino community or best if there is nearby primary school. My workplace would be in wellesley road. And please if you can let me know the good areas to stay.

Thanks a lot.

There's a very good tram (light railway) link
Beckenham - Croydon - Wimbledon, so anywhere along that axis u should
also consider.

if u google "newsshopper" it's the free newspaper for the Lewisham, Bromley,
Beckenham, Croydon area & advertises shared accomodation.
Avoid West Croydon if u can.

If u have no idea about the area PM me & I'll give u some more info (even a
guided tour if needbe)

Croydon is a big, big, multicultural town! There is a lot of big offices located down there, Land registry etc..There is a big chinese store called Wing Yip near Croydon that sells fish from Philippines!:xxgrinning--00xx3: Purley Way Croydon has all the big stores..Ikea etc!
I've got a mate who works in Croydon, he's a sort of caretaker for a block of flats near George Street, (that's very close to the Croydon centre) do you want me to ask him if theres any places there?:Erm:

Bluebird is right about the Tram service! It runs all the way to Wimbledon...so you could maybe live outside of Croydon and just use the tram!:Erm: I don't know if you need to work nightshifts or not though..:cwm34: My Vimvie likes to shop in Croydon so maybe we could buy you a cup of coffee sometime!:xxgrinning--00xx3:
