Hi everyone,

I'm an Englishman born in the Philippines, raised in West Yorkshire, living in London and with a Pinay mother. I've lived in the UK nearly all of my life (but was unfortunately never taught Tagalog and so missed out on most of the Filipino culture), and am making a renewed attempt to learn more about my Filipino side.

I've travelled a fair bit but have not been to the Philippines since the age of 11 - maybe will go there in the next few years. I'm up for meeting a few more Filipinos and others of Pinoy parentage, if you're interested!

Hiya Mrs. J Major, thanks for the warm welcome...

I do know what kamusta ka is, but that is the limit of my knowledge pretty much.... lol

It was strange when I went to last years Barrio Fiesta in Hounslow and heard all the Tagalog talk around me - pretty much the first time I'd heard Pilipino since I was a kid!
