In order to apply for UK citizenship you need to prove you speaka da English :P

After much controversy over the rules for the first 2 months, they have now made it a little easier to get proof.

Here are some ways of doing it.

1) ESOL Level 3 - You need to spend about 20mins talking to a qualified tutor, and they will then issue a certificate saying you speak good English. This costs £40, you will need to email EVERY college within a 50 mile area of where you live.

2) You can download a form from the immigration site to have a solicitor do it.

3) Get the school/college you attended back in the Philippines to give you a STAMPED letter stating lessons were in English.

Any of those 3 shoul be good enough. If you can manage two or all three, even better.
