I'm in a IT industry, looking if UK is for me to get a job (maybe after the recession a year or two).
How's work back there?
:)

Might not be what you want to hear, but as it currently stands it would be basically impossible for you to meet the requirements needed to obtain a working visa in the UK unless you are very highly paid in the Philippines (or working in another country that pays more than the Philippines)
This might change if the UK became desparate to attract IT workers from other countries, but personally I can't see that happening.

I have an IT degree which i've gained back home but its really hard to find jobs on this field, unless you will undergo some qualification or training first.

I think maybe you could do it, but the qualifications you have might not be recognised in the U.K...:Erm:
I wish you the best of luck though pal!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

i think IT jobs were taken off the job shortage list a while ago, getting someone to sponsor you would be difficult as the job would have to be advertised on the jobcentre plus website 2wks, and any brits or europeans would be first in the queue
coming on tier 1, would be difficult for a filipino, becuause you would need a degree, (and i think next year a masters degree) , be young under 30yrs old and have a good paid job in the phils :doh
