Hi,

What documents did you need to submit to the registrar prior to getting married?

In our case, Shei has a previous annulment, so I am guessing that the following will be needed...

Passport
Proof of address in the UK
Birth certificate (maybe not needed because of a passport)
NSO Annotated Marriage Certificate.

Is that all that is required? I tried asking our local registrar, and I am not getting too much info or advice.

Thanks in advance

Ady

This from Scottish registrar, not sure if same with english

both your full birth certificates and, if appropriate
proof that any previous marriage has ended
a certificate of no impediment from your country of domicile if this is outwith the U.K.
and certified translations of any documents not in English

In addition,as far as i am aware, we need utility bills proving address, fiances visa paperwork/passport
