thanks for the warm welcome! been living here in Britain for more than 5 years. planning to get married back in the philippines early next year to my British p:ARsurrender:artner for 5 years so might need some brain storming from you guys with regards to requirements.

hello leah.as far as i remember you need the following:

1. authenticated NSO Birth Certificate
2. CENOMAR (certificate of no marriage)

your partner needs

1. CNI (certificate of no impediment)from his local registrar

Both of you

1. Should go to the British Embassy Manila to apply for local CNI.You will submit the CNI from his local registrar and pay the fee.
2. Attend the marriage counselling in your local municipality
3. Apply for marriage license.

thanks for the info... hoe long does this CNI valid for? we are planning to go home end of August 2009 and getting married feb 2010. just wanted to sort all things when we are in the philippines this August so that we could just relax and unwind before the wedding. me mate is sorting out the seminars in my municipality...lol
