Hi all.

A bit of an embarrasing one, but here goes:)

Roni, and I have tried so hard for a baby while I visited her 3 times, but nothing!!
I am a recovering cigarette addict, and I know that this can have some bearing on my fertility!
Chinese medicine I have heard is a good option to persue.
I am going back to see her in August, and wondered what my best options are.
This is a message to all you doctors on the forum:D

I hope that somebody could help us please.
My doctor will do nothing unless he sees us both together:cwm34:

Thanks

I am not doctor hehe but sharing my opinion, stop smoking, drink red wine at least once/twice a week, exercise, eat healhty foods like bulalo, ask Roni what is bulalo..hmmm

I had friend, he is addict(smoke) drink loads of hard liquors, been living with her live in partner for 10 years, so he thought he is "baog"(cant make baby) but he slept with woman another woman for 2 months, the other woman never used contraceptive because she thought the man is "baog"(sterile) hence the relatioship is not legal to both because the man is with the long term relationship,I dont know if the red wine helps, cause they always drunk with red wine and the "pulutan" is bulalo, the pity woman get pregnant:doh:Erm: so quick:yikes::cwm3:

Thank you dear.
I have developed a taste for a little red wine, have really really cut down on smoking and take nicotine suppliment, am starting to eat more fruits and fresh vegetables, but to honestly say, my diet is pretty healthy.
I go to the gym 5 times a week, and basically keep pretty healthy.
Roni is my best friend, and more, and I will marry her soon enough.
She is my life, and I hers, and we would love a baby pretty soo.
Secretly, I wd love another little Roni, with her mums cute little nose.
Roni says that she is jealous, and loves my white skin, but she is so very beautiful.
I don't quite know what you filipinas like about us whities hehehehehehe

Yes you are right about smoking, and I never take them to work, but suck on Nicorette lozengers.
They work a treat, and have cut down drastically on the drink, coz after all the years, am getting fed up with it.

I don't know but my wife and I are also trying to have a baby.
She says that lots of seafood and coconut milk helps.

We will go down the seafood route but not so easy to get lots of coconuts in the Midlands, the ones in the supermarkets are quite small.

We'll see.

Being together all the time must be the best solution....

Choose your timing:

QUOTE
The most fertile period (the time with the highest likelihood of pregnancy resulting from sexual intercourse) covers the time from some 5 days before until 1–2 days after ovulation.[21] In an average 28 day cycle with a 14-day luteal phase, this corresponds to the second and the beginning of the third week. However, few cycles are exactly average

UNQUOTE

You can buy test kits which identify when the woman is most fertile.

You are right Tawi2.
I used to work on ships and saw an enormous ship off the coast of Saudi Arabia taking the fins and dumping the sharks.
The problem is that the Chinese in particular think that shark's fin is a delicacy and have other medicinal qualities too.
Maybe some people in the Phils eat a shark in the "correct" way i.e. eating all of the shark, but it is so important to spread the word that shark's fin is a "no no".
Like racism, we should have zero tolerance to disgusting things.
If there is any way to save even one beautiful shark from a horrible death, then it must be done.

I am no doctor mate but lots of factors can be the reason about it.

some of the pointers for ur girl:

- does she have regular/irregular periods?
- does she ovulates monthly?
- does she come from a family with a background of PCOS/Myoma or have been to OBGYNE lately for checks?

some pointers for u mate:

- are u also into drinking?
- have u been to ur GP for checks
- diabetes/high blood pressure or any other medical conditions?

Ive got an idea, what about if u go there this august u both go for checks with doctors there..

just my two cents.

Very good, thank you.
Well i virtually stopped smoking, now! Almost there.
I used to recently drink more than I should, and now only do it once a week at the most!
My only medical conditions I have are Asthma, and a slightly higher than normal cholestrol.
My diet is very very good, and I go to the Gym at least 3 times a week to maintain a resonable weight, and cardiovascular health!

I lost my Mum to Cigarette cancer in April when I was in Manila, and now I have a completely different outlook on life, and cherish it more, have grown up more over night, and want to make something of my life.

I have good health, a great, very well paid long term job, and somebody who at last loves me. Why I dont know Lol

Thank you so much for the advice, my friend, we will see a Doctor there for sure:D

Thanks again.

from my doc misses,

timing could be the problem, you visited her 3 times, how long was each visit?

stress/excitement caused your visits and the pressure of trying for a baby could have delayed her ovulation and how regular her periods are..

Yes there is excitement in seeing each other. She is a good Woman , and I love her so very much.
You guys have been so very supportive, is why I'm happy to donate to this wonderful forum.
God bless you all.
I lost my Mum last April while I was there, and she was there for me.
Her period was very late the last time, but nothing.
As for ovulation, I can't answer, sorry.
I work out in the Gym 3 times a week, and have almost given up smoking.
Am quite proud to the fact that I have almost done it!
I drink only a fraction of what I used to.
Am going back in August, so fingers crossed.

Thank you so much

Before I went to Phil and married Chryss I had been cycling regularly for the previous 6 months and had given up smoking too.
Also I had taken a supplement called Maca.
I only wanted to see if it had any effect and hey presto Chryss got pregnant.
I wouldnt bother with ginseng as I beleive its just a stimulant and not something that increases sperm count and motility which I beleive is what you`re after!
I don`t beleive it`s an overnight thing, more like a month or two.

Certain types of exercise can have a damaging effect on male sperm production. One of the worst forms of exercise for this is cycling or mountain biking. Mountain bikers have been proven to register less then half the sperm count and sperm movement than non-cyclists. The semen alterations are thought to be caused by impounding damage to both the testes and the scrotum, the repeated trauma is considered to be the main reason for the vascular damage and the subsequent effects on sperm motility.

Three times mate, and for two weeks at a time.
Now that my lifestyle is different perhaps we will have more luck?
I will go there more relaxed, with an expect nothing attitude this time:D
Am booking the most nicest place in Camiguin for us to stay, and will hardly drink also, tho I was never alcoholic in the 1st place.
We love each other so much, so we will just prey.
My mums passing in April when I was there didn't help I'm sure.

It has been said on this forum that we need more time together, but my visit dates have been staggered!
I suppose it's just as well 'till my divorce comes through, as her mum does not like me very much coz of this.

Thats ok, don`t do mountain biking and being a cyclist for many years i`ve read many things for and against any health related issues.
Also cyclists wear padded shorts nowadays and the seats are designed to take pressure off the sensitive areas and just use the sit bone.
The lower blood pressure gained from the regular excercise helps too.
Anyway, regardless of any articles, my sperm and other issues are fine!
Theres always issues with any excercise, running makes your joints weak cos of the impact. So they improve the shoes to resist the impact and it helps.
One things for certain, sitting on your fat :butthead: will always be sitting on your fat :butthead: and bad for your health.
Worth noting that I was also a smoker for the best part of 20 years so these reviews/tests arn`t always correct.

I guess those things can be taken either way.
Of my work colleagues, 1 is a regular cyclist and last year completed the etape du tour in france, his partner is expecting in august.
Another is a cyclist and runner that has completed one london marathon in 4hrs, he has 2 kids and the youngest is 6 months old.
Interestingly and unfortunately the only colleague of mine that has had trouble is someone that has enjoyed morrocan woodbines on a regular basis.
Then again, my brother also has enjoyed them and has 2 healthy kids :Erm:
Fitzy I wish you and your wife the best of luck and I hope that your dream will come true. As I found out recently it really is the most beautiful experience to be a parent and one that I thought had passed me by.

I booked thu British Airways+Cathay Pacific combination Joe but sad to say they have no more price like that. That's really amazing price. I can afford to visit my loving Mom even twice a year.:xxgrinning--00xx3::Hellooo::BouncyHappy::cwm12:

penny, for many of my trips to the phils, i went air France, and for most i paid only £380, but that was like 6yrs ago :doh

my only time with BA cost me more than 50% more than any other airline, but they were the only one who had tickets still as it was near xmas time .

Thank you 4 the nice inspiration:)

Here is a good tip Joe!
If you shop at Tesco, convert your points to Airmiles(owned by BA).
They are worth 60 miles per two pound 50!
Many many stores are now enrolled in the Airmiles scheme now, including eBay!!
I earn a free flight to HK every 3 yrs.
Just a thought mate:)

Nice 1 mate!!

Good thought, Lol

I get a BA Hotline ticket for around 350 quid to HK then cebu pacific HK Manila and back for 53 quid.
Can't go wrong, as am using this option this August:Hellooo:
I was BA serving staff before, so still get some perks, but wd never take the cheaper option of going standby!!
Don't wana get jammed up in HK for several days not getting on, as it wd work out more expensive, and my boss wd have my:butthead:for not returning to work on time.

Cheers..

Notice sometimes how threads can drift off topic heheheh?:D
