This is what he/she is referring to...
http://www.kirsten-student.com/
... although the article in Balita Pinoy some months ago

... tends to suggest that Kirsten is somehow tied up with Affinity (which closed
down leaving lots of students out of pocket) and Wave (which started up with
all the Affinity people/staff).
Even I (as British) don't understand this full story.... but I'd be very very careful
about paying out money to this bunch.
... also Care Giver courses/opportunities in the UK have radically altered in the
meantime (which others on the site can comment on and alude to far, far better
than me)....so ...
BE VERY CAREFUL.

Philippines is country that lots of people are desperate for works and there are so many people over there that take advantage of this situation and this are in forms of illegal recruitment and some money investments scams...
Always check the POEA when you have doubts about work abroad or DOLE
in the PI if they are legally registered.

... from an education/business site..
Affinity's downfall will have taken many people by surprise, not least those unfortunate overseas
candidates who had recently signed up and paid for NVQ courses in the Philippines.
Affinity works with Philippine based recruitment agency Kirsten, which has been heavily advertising
in all the top national Sunday newspapers, such as the Manila Bulletin.
Kirsten, a POEA registered Agency, appears to trade as "Kirsten Student Development Inc",
described in their advertisement as an "Affiliate of Affinity Training Ltd".
... so .... Kirsten are just acting as an "introduction agency" to a UK college. In this case it was
Affinity, which has gone bust .... and if I was a gambling man, I guess the college they are now
promoting is WAVE (run & staffed by the original Affinity people).
So, you (as a student) pay the fees to the college ... and have no come-back on Kirsten if then
something goes wrong.
I assume Kirsten get a commision from the student, or from the college ...
or if REALLY greedy, from both !
