The Wife, myself and many other people at work have suffered from what i would describe as a case of FLU.

We did as reported phone up, the docs gave us the ok and simply asked us to have a blood test which we get the results in five days.

I asked should i not go to work and wat not and told no its fine and many others at my work place were told the same by different GPs. Our HR department also oked it. People in other workplaces were given the ok as well. I literally went to work and came home and slept and was dosed up to the eyeballs on medication.
I noticed tescos, boots and many of the other shops we looked in were almost sold out of paracetmol, cold cures etc!!
In my job i could easily work from home but was not asked to.

I have to say not felt so bad in years. But right as rain now.

Many of the people who had this bug I have spoken to also were convinced they had the flu.

Is this the UK's new cheap immunization scheme?

No and the person who send out the FLU posters via email went down with this "bug" which none of the people who had its GP told them what it actually was. Just when I rang in after a week or a tad longer after blood test, i was asked am i ok? I was like yeah im getting better now. The answer was oh glad to hear, but they were unable to say what it was:Erm:
No body else has hear either maybe the people carrying out the tests caught it:icon_lol:
