The £2000 is about right, although if you happen to have more it will be even better.:omg:
If you are short, you could always borrow off your credit cards and keep the cash in a deposit account for at least six months, and keep adding a few pounds from earnings from time to time.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

The more the better. Also you have to be employed to support your spouse application, monthly salary that is coming in to your account.

Not really, Sponsor who already settled in UK is the one who must be employed to support the applicant.

When we are just in stage of applying we knew from a fact that savings or how much money you had in your account is just a second place on the eye of the ECO, what count is if the husband in the Uk is working with a continous payslip that could be such a good help, Good luck
