Hi everybody.

Finally Roni and I are going to have a little one:D

I was there between 30th March, and 11th April, and was confused to the fact that her gyno told her today that she is 12 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!
I thought she would have got a more accurate prediction then that??

She is going for her ultrasound tomorrow, and I wonder if they can give her some more accurate information on when the baby is due?

I would like to go to the Philippines for the birth of our little one:)

Any advice would be a great help please?

Congratulations to you both.

Having a baby in the Philippines can be expensive :REGamblMoney01HL1:depending on where you choose to have the baby.

Assuming after the baby is born, you will be registering the birth with the UK embassy and applying for British passport. Part of the requirements for this is the Mother’s antenatal/postnatal/delivery notes, scans and ultrasounds from hospital, so remember to keep them all.

Congratulations!. Fatherhood will change your life.... in a good way! :D

But as some of the other posters have advised, it's probably best to have the baby here in the UK if you can. After considering having it in the Philippines, we decided to have our baby here and it went really well. The local NHS hospital and maternity staff were all brilliant.

If you go to a decent hospital in the Philippines, it can get expensive. My sister in law had a few complications and the final bill was huge! :yikes:

WoW!

What can I say, but a great thanks to you all, and some great advice.
I will be flying out Aug 11th anyway:D
It must have been the Club Class upgrade, good food and sleep that did the trick:Hellooo::Hellooo:
The advantage of working at the airport:icon_lol: Just kidding.

I must say her mum is preetty strict, and hates me I'm sure!
Bet she's gonna love me now when she gets the news from Roni:icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

Still, we are happy, and I'm not marrying the mum:butthead::butthead:

Thanks again friends.
