Hello everyone! I need some suggestions here please. I am tasked to organize a despidida dinner party for a colleague who is moving away to manage another branch in farther town. Can anyone suggest any nice despedida party games or activities please? Thanks.

Karaeoke/Videoke is a MUST!:xxgrinning--00xx3:
Food is a MUST!:xxgrinning--00xx3:
The ideal party for every Filipino is an evening of over-eating and bad singing!:icon_lol:
Joke lang!:)
I believe Filipino's do have a fondness for fun party games...the Filipina's on this site will have to tell you about them though...

Food and drinks will always be present of course........but what I need is some sort of ideas for the activities. I'm planning to pattern it to some sort of showbiz tributes :D like each department will render a song for her and then as a finale, all of us will sing one song. however, I'm still trying to figure out what will these songs be.. any suggestions?
Uhmm, I think i beer drinking game for the ladies would be nice too :D Oh no!:doh we still have work the following day!:Brick: Despedida will be this friday but I still gotta report to work on a Saturday. Anyway, I might just as well ask those who will not be on a Saturday duty to join the beer drinking game :xxgrinning--00xx3: .....or do u have any other nicer games to suggest?

Hi Les Lady888,
Why not try charade? Thought that's fun.
Singing wise...do some songs from Aegis, not most people can reach the high pitch so that would give a good laugh.

Thanks for that suggestion Miss Piggy :) I can try sing the Aegis too :icon_lol: to everyone's dismay I expect :Rasp: ............but actually most of my colleagues are in their senior years :D so I won't expect them to get really drunk :party-smiley-012: .......but the young ones (including me :) ) would surely stay out late despite a working day the next day!:doh

try to make some video presentation of her while at work with your group, use those old pics your officemates got and assemble it. Have your other officemates say something on a video..
Then you can have some tokens for her ( each one of the officemate give small things).
For funny moments- you can play " sing the letters of my Name " wherein each letter of her name is being described in a song .. example... letter A.. ( sing a song that starts in letter A, )

Many thanks for that suggestions Eagles. Actually, I had that similar thought about the old pics. I asked some of our colleagues to bring a pic or a thing that would best remind them of our colleague who is leaving and they will have to share and talk about it at the party.
I like the "sing the letters of my name" game. Thanks.
