Usually in Tagalog, but when my boyfriend is in my dreams it's English, unless we are fighting, what he doesn't know wont hurt him. ;-p

Well, since this thread is specifically addressed to Filipinas ... and I'm :Erm: the wrong gender, and "away in a dream" [or could it be the early onset of senility? :cwm24:] half the time anyway ... think I'll give it a miss - apart from welcoming Kimmi back, that is!

... instead of shouting "Ma-ayo" when your at someones front door
H'mm ... just as I was about to turn my attention to another thread, I noticed this post, and it took me back to my time in the Phils.
I seem to recall  that, whenever someone visited another's house and wanted to announce his/her arrival, the custom was to utter the word "He-yo" in a SOFT [almost plaintive] tone of voice.
Sound familiar, anyone?

:Erm: I've just shown this post to my good lady for affirmation; she has pointed out that the greeting used IS, in fact, "Ma-ayo"!
That's what becomes of my having defective hearing ... :doh
... apologies to Tawi2 :ARsurrender: for my misinterpretation ... I should've known better!

Mt gran always used to swear that she used to dream in black and white, until they got their first color TV, then she dreamed in colour!
She was very happy with this - lol
