Hi, this is ALet from NW London.

Just arrived here a month ago. With my relatives who came to watch the Wimbledon games. They left a week ago but I'll be staying around for quite a while.

Are there any Filipino meeting groups here in London? Like a cycling group or a badminton group? I'd love to meet up sometime! :)

:Hellooo: ALet and Welcome. I'm actually living in Scotland ... which is between 400 & 500 miles away from London. But there's even a surprising number of Filipina ladies around the comparitively small town of Perth ... where I stay. And I've been married to one of them since last December. London, I should imagine, would have much more sizeable Filipino communities, though ... being the UK's Capital city.

Can I suggest you keep logging onto our forum, because there will most likely be quite a few people from the London area who will be delighted to introduce themselves to you in the coming days. However, I'm fairly certain, that the Barrio Fiesta :xxparty-smiley-050: being held in Hounslow *this very afternoon *[I believe!] will attract a large crowd of UK-based Filipino nationals from all over the country.

Sadly you had probably missed the Filipino Barrio festival in Hounslow, great turn out and food and music. In the same area there seems to be a lot of Filipinos living there and working so if shopping around the area you might meet some as i allways do. Bearing in mind a lot of Filipionos work in the hospitals now.
