UKBA today published new statistics of VISA processing times for June 2009.

See PDF in attachment - it is again just Manila page extracted as original file is bit too big...
What is interesting is significant DROP in number of applications processed within 60 days target when you compare the results with May statistics (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php?t=16554)
- from 89% to just 55% with less "Decisions per month" made in July than in May (81 in May to 58 in July) :NoNo::NoNo::NoNo::doh

Just wonder what is holding them back :censored::Brick:

Manila is now the regional centre for ALL visa applications.

(.. and they obviously haven't taken on any extra staff)

Yeah - I know as it was me who posted in here link (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php?p=152007#post152007) to that article from JANUARY!!! where they've been boasting how they will employ lots of new staff and equipment in order to cope with higher demand.... :Brick::Brick::Brick:
Instead their performance is worse and worse by the month :censored::censored::censored:

... it's a political game (and we suffer .... as usual).

With the recession deeply biting in the UK, they cannot be seen to be "endorsing"
or hurrying through visa applications.
(ie allowing more "foreigners" to settle/reside here)

... but, there is an obligation to offer this service.
Hence, they centralise everything, (which allows the politicians to hype the cost
savings they've achieved)
.. but don't take on additional staff (.. so "appeasing" that portion of the electorate
who might jump ship to the BNP) to deal with the larger influx of work into the Manila
embassy.

Q: How can you tell when a politician is lying ?
A: You can see his mouth opening & closing.

it doesn't surprise me, the gov and the HO don't care much about the Brits, they make them wait longer than any other visa category, and do what the sprouts in Brussels tell them to do, that the family permit ones are a priority..

Brits, you pay the most and wait the most :Britain:

looks my flight will be for nothing. I have allowed 15 weeks from submission, looks like a waste now.

I submitted my Student (Tier 4) visa application last 15 July, 2009, and my partner just called the British Embassy here in the Philippines. He was informed that a decision has been made on 23rd. My question is, how long will it be for the British Embassy to send it back to VFS, and for them to send it to me? :Erm::cwm34:

Thank you!

*I'm sooooo anxious and nervous!!!!!!!!*
