Your husband (if he is acting as the sponsor) will write a letter addressed to the embassy, stating that he is willing to support you while in UK. See this link:

Your spouse is basically addressing this letter to the embassy, no need to put any address in there - might be addressed "to whom it may concern".
About content look at these threads - it will give you very good idea as what to write in there:
Letter of support (sponsorship letter) 1 (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php?t=13285)
Letter of support (sponsorship letter) 2 (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php?t=2336)
Good luck...:xxgrinning--00xx3:

oh dear... babykoh,

Computerized and printed on a bond paper... glossy paper or not, up to you. Remember that you are submitting it as a document to the embassy. So it must be clean and proper like how documents should be.

yes, he needs to sign it. if he doesn't have a computer, then he must have a typewritter or a word processor.

if there's none, then he can handwrite it instead... just use bond paper. i'm not sure though if handwritten letter is acceptable... maybe one of the members can advise you on that.

my suggestion is :once your hubby made a letter, request him to go to internet cafe and have it computerize there.after that he should affix his signature over printed name and then scan it and send it to you via email.when you recieve it, print it.

Handwritten is fine - there are no rules on how the letter should be, it is just a letter.

Just bear in mind that you want to present a good image to the ECO and your letter should be easy to read.

... you could try submitting on the back of a fag packet,
perhaps even leaving a few unsmoked Woodbines inside.

Hi babykoh,

Just make the sponsorship letter one page only.

He is the your sponsor, so it must be him describing how you met etc..

Made by computer or handwritten are both O.K..

He must sign it and give it back to you with all the other documents he needs to get to go with your visa application.

Bye
