Hello Filipinas hello UK hello world:D
Just to ask what's your english expression you adapted already?:D
Now I'm used to say:

"yeah..yeah"..(well I have to agree atm:rolleyes::D)
"oh that's lovely" thank you - at first I thought my name was lovely not leah coz they keep calling me lovely:yikes::icon_lol::icon_lol:
"oh that's wonderful smashing thank you" -:Erm: well impressed:D
"cuppa tea..cuppa tea"..- hehehe every meal:D:icon_lol::icon_lol:
" Oh deaaa" - oh dear:D

but sometimes I can't forget to say "AY NAKU!" LOKO KA:D:icon_lol::icon_lol:

booty (not sure of spelling)--- for sandwhich

and loads of terms of endearments :)

If in Manchester.... You can use these words and expressions to mingle with the locals.

Safe - meaning: trustworthy.
Example: Don't worry, he's safe. He's with me!

Sound - meaning: good, nice.
Example: Got a TV for half price.. Sound!

Ahh kid - meaning: family member/sibling or close friend.
Example: Goung out with ahh kid.

Swear down now - meaning: promise.
Example: I swear down now, I didn't take it!

Boxed off - meaning: dealt with/sorted out
Example: Got the insurance for the new TV boxed off

Is also short for God blind me! Used as an expression of shock in seeing something surprising.
God blind me = i wish god blinded me so i couldn't have seen that.

Of course Iain is quite right, but as for s I know it carries two meanings, lol

For example, if hubby came home to find the milkman shag*ing his misses, he migat say 'Cor Blimey, wat u doing luv?':yikes::D:D:icon_lol::icon_lol:

"Nahawa" narin ako after 2 years of been together in the Phil. Then, when i got my visa and found a church here in the UK, im sharing "words" standing at the pulpit and i use "Bo_ _ _ _ ks", which makes me surprise when they LOL. :NoNo::NoNo: Not funny after finding out the meaning. Im imbarassed and asked apology:D:D:D. Never use that word again, nevah! :CompBuster: :CompBuster:

Now, sila na nahawa to my expression "Acheche! & bloody ngek":D:D:D

i always use 'blimey' and 'quid' (pounds), as i adapted from my hubby. and he adapted 'hay naku' from me :D

i also thought that if they say 'see yah later' it's really later :icon_lol:

and if you have kids or baby they always say 'oh bless him/her!'

my son Yujin knows more than i do :icon_lol:

Must admit, I'm guilty of introducing Yam to the word "knackered"! She's said it a couple of times and I can't help but laugh as it sounds so funny with her accent. I feel bad though after as I have to reassure her that she said it perfectly well and in the right context, it just makes me smile when she says it!

two ticks = just a minute (from tick tock 'clock' )
cheers = can mean 'thank you' or 'bye' or as a toast when drinking
now then = Lincolnshire expression often said 'now-en' used to say 'Hello'
choca block = when something is full or busy
bonkers = silly, crazy, stupid or mental
nutter = a crazy person

I think The British have more words for toilets and what you do in them than any other country lol

Words for toilets:

loo, bathroom, wc (water closet), little girls or boys room, mens or ladies, cr*pper, bog
there are others but they escape me at the mo (mo = moment)

I would put the plethora of words for what we do in the toilet but I think i've gone far enough :)

My brothers wife is a proper cockney,better than the Eastenders actors,some of her expressions are :Erm::Erm: I remember loads of expressions from the north east but they are littered with 4-letter epithets :icon_lol: Dofferent words are also used around the country for different things,in the north east a "Loon" is a crazy person,in Caithness its used to describe a young boy :xxgrinning--00xx3:
