My filipina friend got her ILR (on work permit visa) last Nov together with her husband as her dependant (both filipino). Her husband will be on his 3 years in UK on March next year. Can they apply for citizenship together next year? Coz it is a lot cheaper to apply for joint application.

i don't think so, he need to be in the uk 5yrs.

But once his wife has got Naturalisation approval, then he could apply after 3yrs of being in the uk as the spouse of a british citizen.
