Hello,
Before you apply and pay for the spouse visa, please check this forum and make sure you have all the necessary documents/requirements.
Many people think he should be able to show a bank balance of at least £2000. The spouse visa is expensive so make sure you know exactly what you need and what your husband should be able to prove before you pay for the visa.
Do a search on this site for more information.

Yes i have the same questions. I have not applied for spouse visa yet. Hopefully by next month when i have all the requirements and documents needed from my husband. My hubby is currently waiting for his bank statements. My worries are, he doesn't have savings. He said not to worry because he have a regular job that can support both of us. He has been sending money every month, thus the reason why he doesn't have savings. Is there a chance that i could get my visa approved?

in simple terms, if you have a job and savings and everything else is ok with your visa app (genuine relationship and accommodation) then you will probably get your visa, if you don't have savings ( how is your husband going to support you?) then the risk of refusal increases, even more so if your bank account is over drawn.but whether they would refuse you, who knows..
as for 5 bank statements, if you dont send what they ask for, you increase your risk of refusal, but i would have thought you should be ok, but who knows, i dont think they would just refuse it for sending 5, but if there is another problem with your app, then sending 5 is just another reason/excuse for refusing it.
