Just come back from China where my best mate has just married a lady from the Philipines (I played matchmaker 2 years ago..hehehe) My missus met me there again, the first time in 14 months...wow...it was just like the first time we ever met..my head went around and my heart was thumping very heavily in my chest...I love her so..so.. much...cannot wait until Xmas when I go back for Good...The BIG Plus was..I met my little boy for the first time...he's so..so..gwapo (just like me...hehehe) I had tears welling up straight away...I even changed his nappy (hate Diaper..stupid word)..I have been amazed by the fact that my missus has waited so long for me...in the Uk. the ladies maybe wait a couple of week then off they go..(well..not all of them) Everything was great until we all departed at HK. airport...then tears abounded..I arrived back in Bradford...then the depression set in...The difference in the way of life and the attitude of the people are so..so different..I'm begining to hate this place...Only someone from Bradford can understand why....anyway...I had a lovely time and I thank God that I eventually found my missus after 50 odd years of searching...My son now has a Filipina G/F....Soon we will have a Branch of the MacDonald clan over there...:icon_lol::icon_lol:

Wow, that is a long time and it must have been amazing for you to see your new family :Rasp:

BTW, I thought "made up" originally came from Liverpool, didn't know it was used in Yorkshire.

Nice story. I wish you find happiness. Ah your name is Mcdonald? I was asked if I owned the restaurants everywhere I went. They say you own Mcdonalds? I said no way.

Thank you for the reply's...Yes I've also been asked about MacDonald's...but fortunately..my ancestors all came from the Scottish highlands...not a copycat American fast food junk shop..besides..I think McDonald is the Irish version? anyway I never eat the stuff..cannot abide those awful green things in the food(?) they sell. The strange thing about the 16 months (I made a mistake there) is thats its gone soooo fast....and I would wait forever for her...she's that special to me....again ta to you all..

Awwww, I know the feeling. My bf and I waited 16 months before we met in person (we were both really busy with work and grad school). As fast as you say it went (and goes), I bet you have days when you're nanggigigil* and frustrated too. That was awesome that you got to see them again and hold your baby boy (and change his nappy)!:cwm38:

Figured you weren't referring to the fastfood chain as you said clan.:icon_lol:

*erm, anyone care to translate? I'd call it overwhelmingly ~insert emotion here~ but there might be a better translation out there.

BTW, I thought "made up" originally came from Liverpool,

Being "made up" was a term used for being promoted within mafia families.
