hi Jewel, welcome :)
it depends on how heavy the package is... if it isn't so heavy, then you can use Royal Mail registered. If it's really heavy, then there are balikbayan boxes. It also depend on how quick you want your recepient to get the package. Give more details and surely someone can give further info. :)

or go to your local pinoy shop and get a free copy of Onephilippines news magazine, you'll find many cargo forwarders in there and any special deals they have on :xxgrinning--00xx3:

i would have thought it be cheaper by a cargo forwarder, as the royal mail charge by weight i think :Erm:
it will take i would have thought 6wks or so to get there by most cargo forwarders and by royal mail.

that's right :xxgrinning--00xx3: , if it's 30kg then it will be too expensive of sent by royal mail.
i'm sorry to be a pain, Jewel, but sometimes the size of your box would mean a lot to your parcel as well, as most forwarding companies do it by volumetric weight if it's heavier than the actual weight. You may check www.parcelmonkey.com and they will generate a price quote for you straight away which you can use to compare with other forwarding companies. :)
