Filipina Nurse over 50 Yrs. Old

I am married to a british national, and currently on a settlement visa.

i was just wondering, if there is an age limit for an expat specifically, a filipina nurse, to work here in UK.

My mom is a nurse and she's more than 50 yrs. old already, she's currently working in Saudi Arabia and will be retiring next year and plans to go back in the Philippines.

She is asking if we can sponsor her to come here in UK on a settlement visa, in case she decided to continue working as a nurse.

She would have to go through the normal channels in the Phil to get here as a nurse, but why not just bring her here as a family member? It'll be easier from Saudi than the Phil.

You're right.....i'll try to convince her to do the visa application, while she's still in saudi....
