Braveheart,
Don't worry.. you'll get your visa soon... based on the previous threads, waiting time had been 4 months for most of those who were just granted visas..

opps sorry..must have pressed a key there that sent my message earlier......
yeah, i've noticed that too...around 4 months waiting period although there was i think one exceptional case which is at exactly 3 months and some, a couple of weeks more after the 3rd month.
just recently resigned from work though (actually reporting last day tomorrow)...decided to spend time with my family while waiting for the result. just praying and hoping for the best.
by the way, i am planning to go to the province for a while to visit my grand parents (have limited access to internet by then), aside from visiting the vfs-global website for tracking the application and e-mail notification, would you happen to know if you do get notified also via text message? I remember, I was notified then when I applied for tourist visa via text message that my application is ready for pick-up at VFS. I wonder if they do the same for this kind of application?
anyway, thank you again for your time.

:Hellooo: Welcome to our midst, Weng. Thank you for your complimentary remarks about the forum ... the purpose of which is, as you rightly say, to help and guide each other, and also enjoy the friendly fellowship that abounds along the way.

Ah ... that would explain your use of 'Braveheart' - taken from the popular movie of the SAME name - based on the exploits of Scotland's greatest and most famous warrior of all time ... William Wallace. :Kilt:

Yes, indeed! The Notification System works in one or either of 2 ways:
1. If you advise VFS that you'd like to pick up your visa, then you will
receive a text message informing you that it is ready for collection
OR
2. If you choose to have it delivered to a specific address [for which
there is an additional handling fee of 300 peso] the text will read
"Processed Passport Returned By Courier"
Good Luck. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
