This was the question i had in my mind few months ago before i joined here. I was asking myself with what kind of problem I am facing at the moment, joining this forum:Erm: will be a good help or just to have reason being online most of the time:rolleyes:

But then...honestly, as for me I think this forum gave me some peace of mind and sense of not being alone. Each one of us have our own personal reasons to which we joined here. But one thing for sure I knew we all just looking for group of people to which we can relate too and help us to what ever bothers u.

Grateful indeed...Im very happy that I found this. Though as of now Kevin cannot join here. But everyday I tell him every thread that could best interest him here. Same as I, Kevin is one of those lost soul who have enlightened here.

...just want to know, how about you? What this forum did to you that made you hook to this site and seems addicted to be here most of the time:D

Thanks Boss Keith as this is not only to socialize but a great avenue to build up friendship, great information and most importantly give you a sense of belonging.

I lurked here for a few months - viewing but not becoming a member. However I can say with confidence that the forum aided Daisy's visa application. Her visa application was more polished as a result of reading the forum and therefore I believe boosted her chances of success.
When I did join, introduce myself and post the first question it was on the eve of her receiving her visa - I got one last confidence boost before the momentous news.
That is the power of a group of people like this - and being able to contribute our experiences and questions from time to time is part of a way of saying thanks

Indeed, each and everyone of us has a reason or reasons in joining this forum. I just watch a movie entitled Perfect Strangers, and this statement caught my attention "virtually connected, personally disconnected". We feel interconnected to people we have met here hence the plans of meeting up and enjoy a group we once had back home. Although sometimes we find it very hard to meet up because of the hectic schedules, still looking forward to meet our newly found friends someday.

In joining this site we were able to meet friends with whom we can feel the sense of belonging, share some our experiences about visa applications and/or processing, give advice to those who needs them and we as well receive from those who unselfishly share their time and so on and so forth.

I'm grateful i have joined this site.... Thank you Mr and Mrs Admin for creating this site. I enjoy reading informative articles and the exchanging of ideas of some members. Although we are all busy with our own lives, we still find time to peep in once in a while, maybe because this is the forum wherein we find (the love and care) by our fellow filipinos which everyone needs whilst being away from family and friends back home.

:)
