Hello I am a filipina married to a british gwapo guy in UK my bbmick:D.
I`ve submitted my application In VFS center last july 23.

I just had a call from the british embassy this afternoon and the guy told me
that i didnt submit my husband divorce absolute with my application. But I am sure that i submitted to them with my application but i also know there is no point in insisting. I am still glad that they made an effort to call me 3 times before i answered their call than just deny it coz im lacking of papers. so i just asked my husband to send another copy again.

My question is did it ever happend to any member here that one of the requirements u submitted got lost and have to send another one again. You think it will affect my application?

I don't have any experience of this, but if they tried to contact you 3 times, sounds like they are just doing their job properly...I shouldn't think there will be a problem, as long as you supply the information they require.

Good luck :)

He can obtain a relacement from the court in which he was divorced and if he sends it by courier you could have it in a few days. The best courier service for this IMO is Interparcel http://www.interparcel.com (http://www.interparcel.com/) He can book collection online and he will find that it is actually collected by DHL, but at about half the price that DHL would have charged. He can then track the progress and delivery of the package on the DHL website.

Ian has pointed out what you should do, I can only concur that not having the right document which they often loose, should not affect your application, so go ahead and get a replacement.
