This should be the website for checking your application https://www.vfs.org.in/UKG-PassportTracking/ApplicantTrackStatus.aspx?Data=gCkM4cDzJq6ruuVW6OL8%2f%2fQveaP7PAb

I cant seem to wor to get it to work for me:NoNo: let me know if you have better luck.

I honestly believe that you are all just wasting your time.

From previous postings, and my experience, there are only TWO statuses.

1. "Your application has been forwarded to the Embassy"
(Which, as u submitted in person to VFS is obvious, but I guess they need
to do, to officially confirm)

and

2. the txt you get which says...."Your passport is available to collect"

As we are all too aware, the time between status 1 - 2 can be anything from
6/8 weeks to 18 weeks, but there will be NO news made available.
Status 1 NEVER changes... there is NO update ...until you get that txt.

The txt is an additional service you have to pay for (110 PHP) when you submit your application.

Even though we payed for this service, we never recieved a txt and only found out it had been processed when i checked online.

:iagree: We have the same experience Rusty - even though my Maricel paid for the SMS service she never got a SMS from them - except the first one saying "Your application has been forwarded to the Embassy". I've had to find out myself through the online tracking at VFS website.
Other point is that VFS web is sometimes unreliable and the tracking simply doesn't work. :Brick:
Otherwise I agree with BlueBird - the status never changes :doh - except at the end when it says either "Processed application ready for collection" or "Processed application returned by courier" (in case you've paid for the courier delivery service).
Babykoh - take a look at the VFS web, click on the "Track your application" on the left hand side of their homepage and enter your application reference Nr. - usually look like this: AMAN/..../..../.... - the dots represents your unique application ref. Nr....
Good luck...:xxgrinning--00xx3:

I'm sorry, but my experience is different... I learned that my visa was with the courier when I checked VFS website. They didn't text me though..

So, better check with the website... you won't die if you will... and besides, you'll get the shock of your life when you read a different status (since you were so used to reading "application is forwarded to British high commission")... My status 2 was "application processed returned to courier" (I opted to have my docs delivered to my house and have missed it twice actually...

Good luck!

Well, when I submitted my application in VFS they asked if I want to pick it up or send through courier.. I said, send to courier... then when it was already sent back to the courier for delivery, they (VFS or British embassy) didn't text me to tell me that it is on its way.. I only learned that my visa is okay when I checked VFS website. That's why I said that it is also best to check your application online from time to time. This is the website.. then just click on "Track your Application" on the left side of the page

http://vfs-uk-ph.com/

Good luck! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
