DON'T PANIC
Ours was processed in 5 wks exactly. Yes, I think we got lucky, but other people do as well.

@quenbee: yah, ive been to London, Lowestoft and Edinburgh last December carrying tourist visa... one month after my application i had my visa (october 9, 2008-nove. 7, 2008)... Make sure you submit all the documents they needed... Goodluck to you...

Im 2 years older. :) Well, as long as you all the documents ready and established that you have a genuine relationship, then you will be alright. As to my case, when i submitted my documents last week, i had a manager's check. Its safer and more convenient.

I think you will need a print out of the visa fee and the bank charges if you prefer to pay over the counter. Goodluck on your appointment and Goodluck to us.:)
