Hi guys. I have had 2 visa refusals in the US in year 2002. After I graduated college, i applied for a student visa but was denied because of not having sufficient bank savings as i was a fresh graduate. When i was refused the first time, i appealed two weeks after and still was denied. It's just that i dont have enough evidence that i can support my studies there.

And now that i am married to a brit and applied for a spouse visa in UK, you think it will affect my application? I was being honest in the application form and stated there about my previous refusals and submitted my previous passports. Now, I have a nice job in the philippines and well paid but willing to give up my career just to be with my husband. What do you think guys? I am still waiting for my spouse visa results and anxious and worried. Any words of enlightenment will be much appreciated. Thanks.:Erm::NoNo:

HI GIRL...

I dont have any idea bout that but whats the most important in your application is telling the truth and nothing but the truth. Eventually as long as you provide the relevant documents the ECO will consider your application.. Don't worry girl, you'll be fine... Godbless us and to your baby... Im happy for you...

As you have mentioned the refusal on your form it shouldn't cause you any problems.

As Darren has said, I would concur with that, the premise of your new visa has changed,i.e. not student, now spouse, it should have no effect on your case, best of luck.
